Alana & Scott
Rainy Saratoga Springs Brunch Wedding
On the morning of Alana and Scott’s wedding, a huge rainbow cut through the rain over Cupertino. It was a lovely sign of things to come. Their brunch wedding at Saratoga Springs took place in Longbridge and was dotted with the last minute addition of white tents. Throughout the morning, the rain fell but just before Alana and Scott walked down the aisle, the clouds parted and their smiles lit up the grove. A little rain wasn’t going to dampen their spirits. They planned a fun brunch gathering filled with gourmet donuts, fun games and a collection of colorful cakes that caught the eye of many of the younger guests in attendance. Except for one kid. He was way more impressed with the giant banana slugs he found. Fun fact; banana slugs are real, not just from my childhood nightmares.
Alana & Scott
Durning Alana and Scott’s engagement session, they paid homage to Ms. Pac-Man, the game they fell in love over. So it was no surprise to find elements of Ms. Pac-Man again throughout their wedding day. Scott’s subtle sense of humor was evident with his Pac-Man colored argyle socks. But my fav was seeing the handmade replica of Alana and Scott in full wedding attire perched on top of the wedding cake, playing Ms. Pac-Man.
To Alana and Scott, their wedding was as much about their families as it was them. From the carefully selected gifts for each child in attendance to the birthday cake for their adorable ring bearer, Alana’s attentiveness shows just how thoughtful she is. She also has a kind and nurturing soul with a glittery personality. It’s of the many reasons Scott fell so deeply in love.
After the bubbliest grand exit I’ve ever witnessed, Alana and Scott finally took time for themselves. We left to explore Sanborn County Park. Somehow they found an area so peacefully isolated, it felt like a fairy tale. It was the perfect touch of magic to wrap up their wedding day.
