Just imagine – you’ve planned a romantic wine-country weekend getaway in early November. The colors are perfect, the air is crisp and you are proposing before that ring burns a hole in your pocket. This was June’s plan for Jany and it was going very smoothly. The big day finally arrived and June and Jany checked in at Castillo di Amorosa for their tasting.

Guest Services: Where is Amy, the 3rd person in your party?

Jany: Who’s Amy?

June:

Jany: Who’s Amy?

June: {desperately attempting telepathy} Uh, must be a mistake. There’s just two of us.

June tried to keep her voice calm and her face neutral to prevent giving anything away and eventually, it worked. Luckily, being in a castle and drinking wine provided just the right amount of distraction for Jany to forget the mysterious 3rd party reservation. Afterward, under the guise of walking through the vineyard, June followed me from a safe distance into the vines in front of Castillo di Amorosa. This is where she proposed to Jany – surrounded by vibrant golden foliage. After the hugs, kisses and tears, Jany spots me at the end of the vines taking pictures and June finally admits, that’s Amy!
