Molly & Jason
Romantic 30A Elopement at Watercolor Beach Resort
Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

Jason and Molly
Jason nervously twisted the ring on his finger while waiting for Molly to walk outside for their First Look. It didn’t matter that they had gotten ready together in their suite. The thirty minutes they had been apart while Molly dressed was enough time for the excitement to build. The previous day, Molly and Jason hopped a plane to Florida for a beach getaway at Watercolor Inn Resort along scenic Hwy 30a. However, what their families didn’t know, was that this romantic weekend was actually a secret mission to elope.
Cerulean Park
As we stood in the middle of an empty Cerulean Park, my favorite officiant, Marie, spoke of dedication and commitment. I don’t how she does it, but Marie’s heartfelt ceremonies always evoke tears in whoever is listening. On any other clear spring day, the park would have been packed with people. But for some reason, only the squirrels and the driver of a passing van bore witness. The timely chime of childhood music pours out of the ice cream van just before Molly and Jason sealed their clandestine union with a kiss. Besides a private jet loaded with Nutella heading to Paris, what could be more romantic than a secret elopement?

With little more than thirty people and only two weeks of planning, it felt like an elopement by the edge of the sea.
