Alison and Jamie dreamed of having a beautiful beach wedding in Watercolor, Florida where the sand is as white and as soft as sugar. But just weeks before their big day, the threat of yet another hurricane became a real possibility. With Alison busy running a business in New Orleans and Jamie working hard in St. Augustine, these two filled what little moments they had left with driving back and forth, with their doggie kids in tow, between their very distant homes. They barely had time to sleep, let alone finish planning their destination wedding.
Yet, somehow, all that insane weather was directed somewhere else. Along with all the other last-minute issues that come with a covid wedding. Oh 2020, you crazy fickle wench, you are just full of surprises. In the end, the entire day was a fun relaxed affair. Mother nature pulled through for us with near-perfect weather and delivered a glowing sunset for Alison and Jamie’s ceremony, exactly like they hoped for.
