When Jay saw Tamar for the first time, she was a high school freshman wearing a boy’s letterman jacket. He was a senior. Even then she captivated him. That was almost fifteen years ago and they have been together ever since.
Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club
A few days ago, they finally tied the knot at Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club with one of the most elegant weddings I’ve ever seen. Their lives, their hearts and now their families have become completely entwined. Not just because their two families are now joined but they literally became tangled on the dance floor in a wildly fun mash-up between a Jewish hora and a no-holds barre dance-off. At one point, the band’s lead singer began to crack with laughter mid-croon. And it’s little wonder – this was a joyous event! A well-organized, beautifully detailed, perfectly fabulous wedding that’s been almost fifteen years in the making.
