Wine Country Wedding at Vintners Inn

Mother Nature helped us celebrate this past Saturday by giving us one rain-free day for Nick and Courtney’s outdoor wedding at Vintners Inn in Santa Rosa. There were a lot of tears while these two exchanged vows under the pergola because it was the official joining of two very close families who have essentially been ‘family’ long before Courtney and Nick were even born.

Since their parents have been besties forever, these two were forced to spend time together as they grew up. Like most kids, they experienced a full gamut of friendship ranging from toddler camaraderie to tween disdain. But at some point in high school, cooties turned into oh hello. Over time their interest developed into total devotion, much to the surprise and elation of their parents.

Their wedding was full of touching details like the barrels inscribed by Courtney’s dad and Nick’s surprise Groom & Grandmother dance, but more than any special detail this wedding was full of pure joy. It came from the sound of Courtney’s laughter, which could be heard throughout the entire weekend, beckoning anyone within earshot with its infectious timbre. I’ve come to realize Courtney is always laughing because her joy is literally overflowing. And it’s easy to see why.
